What a lovely welcome to a new group! I am a newbie here and your comment is the first one I saw! I feel personally welcomed! 😁 Although I know your remarks were not directed specifically at me, I still thank you very much. I feel welcomed here already! Hi everyone! I am Becca. I was dxd with Fibromyalgia and Lupus 30+ years ago and still have not found a single thing that takes the pain away. I dislike imparting such negative opinions but it is the honest truth as I know it. I've tried everything from Aspirin to Fentanyl to everything in between. Every fruit, every herb, every flower, every mask, every smoothie, every diet, every concoction, EVERYTHING!
Sleep and rest and eat as healthy as you can but have the dessert, have the treats. Pamper yourself! You deserve it! Find at least one thing to distract yourself from the pain. I keep a Journal. I'm very strict on myself about writing in it. Even if it's only one word. That's my rule. Just write one word a day no matter what. Write about your pain. Describe your pain. What color is it? Name it. What do you want to do to it? How? With what? You get my drift. You could also do beaded jewelry. I do bracelets and sometimes necklaces. People always want to buy them! So I tell them where to go to pick out what beads/colors and charms they would like and I provide the base bracelet and voila, you have a little business just by doing a little hobby that you enjoy! Not to mention that your mind is now off of your pain. 🥳 I know it's not that easy and I did not mean to take your pain lightly because I share your pain. It's a second by second battle. Take the next breath, take the next breath . . .
It's that bad and I'm so 😔 sorry for all of us that are suffering daily, nightly, second by second with this unending burden. There are no words. We call ourselves Warriors and that we are!! 💜
