Getting off of Seroquel

My doctor prescribed Seroquel in conjunction with tapering Xanax. I picked up the script, read the insert and then did my own research. I notified him I would not be taking Seroquel. I was his patient for over 25 years. He began refusing all my calls and the office staff were hanging up on me. Trying to find a new doctor was a nightmare. I ended up in the hospital. In the end I’m glad I never started the Seroquel. The doctor was taking me off Xanax and prescribing another nightmare drug. This is what they do. No thanks.

If you read all the inserts you’ll probably steer clear of everything. I have found Seroquel to be very helpful for myself. The doc however should never refused your calls. That person is copping out because they don’t know how to do their job. Find another doctor.
