My care has been with my local PCP, as I live an hour away from Mayo. I haven't spoken specifically to her about the HR issue as I was hoping it would pass, only brought it up with all the other symtoms. I'm wondering if I should request any further testing to make sure there's no damage we are unaware of. We've done a chest CT to rule out PE.

Hi Sara, I am sorry you are still dealing with after effects of a Covid infection - it is good that you are following up with your PCP. It would probably be a good idea to bring the rapid heart rate episodes to their attention, explaining when this most frequently occurs.
After iron infusion, it can take a few days to feel changes - and possibly repeat infusions, or oral supplements, depending on your readings.
Is it possible for you to do report the rapid heart rate with a call or email, so they can order additional tests before you are seen?
