Has anyone experienced excessive sleepiness or lassitude or other bad side effects from 2 Metformin 500 mg per day? Or any side effects from Trulicity?

Yes. Every few months, especially around Dinner time I would get a
N upset, bloated stomach, can’t eat, feel full. Within an hour, I usually have explosive diarrhea which can continue over the next few hour. Sometimes longer.
I take 1000mg in AM, 500 at lunch and 500 at dinner with meals.
I usually go off for a few days to 2 weeks.

I take one 1,000 mg at lunchtime and another 1,000 mg in evening. Have followed this for many years and so far no problems.

I take metformin 500 mg 2 x day. I've noticed my voice stays hoarse. I don't sound like myself. Other people have noticed it. Could it be the metformin?

If you experience side effects with Metformin, you might consider using Berberine instead, which works just as well and with no side effects. I asked my doc who agreed to the switch for me. Research it online.

No. Been taking this dose and frequency for about three years. It's almost like a placibo because there is no notable affect. However, my A1c seems to be acceptable.
