Hi I'd like to suggest another suggestion. 5 years ago my girlfreind broke her tailbone 1 year after accident she was still having pain when she sits down all of her doctors said with tailbone you will always have pain sitting down. She then went to a chiropractor for another issue shoulder pain and chiropractor told her the tailbone breakage had built up scare tissue which was the cause of pain the chiropractor gave her some excercises to strech the tissues and after a few months pain was gone good luck

Good afternoon @davej. thanks for posting your girlfriend's experience with her tailbone. I know everyone is different and yet to save everyone will always have pain is pretty global in its perspective. My tailbone was broken during the delivery of my daughter. After her birth, it healed completely and I have never had any issues. Good luck to others.
