I've been doing Keto since 2018, but fell DEEEEP off the wagon last year due to Covid/depression/my dad dying. But I'm back on the wagon.

It works for me.

I also like CBD products. I've tried salves, gummies, vapes. Trying to figure out the most efficient and effective way to take it, along with most cost effective.

Keto is 70% healthy fats, 25% protein, 5% carbs. The actual macros would depend on your needs. I am also trying to lose weight so I have my net carbs pretty tight. When I'm strict I do very well. I was down 80 lbs.

Hello @super8cat, Welcome to Connect, an online community where patients and caregivers share their experiences, find support and exchange information with others. I think COVID sent a lot of us into the dumpers last year so I can't imagine how hard it must have been for you to also lose your father. Good for you to get back on the wagon to help yourself. While we wait for other members to offer suggestions I thought you might be interested in another discussion here on Connect.

Low-carb healthy fat living. Intermittent fasting. What’s your why?: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/low-carb-healthy-fat-living-intermittent-fasting-whats-your-why/

Are you able to share a little more about your diagnosis or what you were searching for when you found Connect?

I started Keto a bit over 3 years ago when I was diagnosed with diabetes. I also had/have Fibromyalgia, and Hashimoto;s disease. Three months after starting keto I was 50LBS lighter, diabetes free(taken off all meds) and free of Hashimoto's disease. today I am maintaining my reduced weight, still free of diabetes and Hashimoto's. I stuck to strict keto for the first year but now I have relaxed a bit. I eat 2x per day and do intermittent fasting and it works for me I love the keto diet so it was an easy way of life for me to stick to.
