Getting off of Seroquel

Hello, I’ve been taking 100mg of Seroquil at bed time for about a year after being prescribed it in a treatment center. I’ve been taking it every night but I feel very lethargic during the day and in the morning because of it. I want to get off of it very badly so I cut my dosage to 50mg for the past two weeks but I don’t feel any difference yet in the morning. Can someone please let me know how I can get off it completely? I would stop taking it every night but I can’t sleep now when I don’t take it since the doctors put me on it, I wish they never did! Thank you 🙏

Hi @stlr21, lots and lots of members talking about Seroquel in this discussion like @osha9, @gary1316, @amy8297 and @chrisjc. Hopefully you can find answers to help you get off the medication, however, just like your previous post, I would never recommend doing so without the help of a physician. I think Chris and Gary can attest to the intensity of the withdrawals.

Were you prescribed this at the same time as the other medication that you are taking?
