No worries about the photos! That helped quite a bit.
I’m fairly sure it’s just the outside scab waiting to drop off! It looks like it’s ready any time. Remember when you were a kid and probably skinned your knee? It took a while for all of the scab to release? I’m thinking that’s what this looks like.
The cream won’t do any more for it. It looks dry all the way through and should come off by itself. You could try a warm wet washcloth for a few minutes and then it might just lift right off.
The skin will be pink underneath so avoid sunlight and keep a small wipe of petroleum jelly on it or lip balm for a few days.

For future reference, when you have an active cold sore, it is caused by a virus and can be easily transmitted via sharing glasses, kissing, or touching the sore and then touching something else.

Was this your first one?

Thank you so much!
Yes it was, and I didn't know how to deal with it, and after I scratched the cold sore by accident this dry blister happened and it freaked me out. I don't feel itchiness or anything. Feels weird when touching it softly when washing my face, like a dry skin hanging on my lip.
But yeah, I will just leave it as it is until it comes off.
Thank you for your help and knowledge!
