Idk what I have
I've been couphing up frothy spit from my throat. And I usually hear an occasional click/crack in my throat. It feels as if my palate has been widened and I'm breathing fine after having lower chest pains. I went to my doctor and he said hormones were causing the rib pain but all of a sudden I'm breathing fine..

Hello @naty and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I am sorry to hear of your problems with your breathing and pain. You mention seeing your doctor who thought the problem was hormonal. Were there any reasons given for why this would be hormonal?
As you mentioned having a click/crack in your throat, I'm wondering if you have seen an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist? As you also talked of some discomfort in the palate, I'm thinking that perhaps a dental check-up might be in order. Have you seen a dentist recently?
Please feel free to share a bit more, as you are comfortable doing so. For example, how long have you had this problem, and is it a daily problem or one that comes and goes?
No I haven't seen my dentist in years. This started about nearly a week ago. I had a striking headache, vomit and nausea with green diarrhea, I went to the hospital and they just took my covid test (I still don't know if I'm positive), and later that night I had chills (the doctor said I was very anxious). A few days pass and I can't eat anything except liquids without my stomach hurting ( I still have the chest pain, back pain and the occasional twitching around my body, and the tingling in my legs). I go to my main Doctor and he says that it's hormones causing all this and gave me about 4 pills to take. I took the binozyt 500 mg, but I couldn't eat anything, and about 3/4 hours after I started having belly pains and watery diarrhea, right after I smelt vomit and started to get dizzy. I vomited water etc for about 15 times and having diarrhea in-between. I told the hospital doctor and he said I might have thyroid problem, and suggested that I drink Pedialyte. I found it weird that he didn't check my heart beat or lungs.
I had been having the occasional underboob chest pain but I just thought it was growing pains. It doesn't come alot but this week it has been more and more frequent.
I also might have an ear infection
Hello, again @naty,
It might be a good idea to let your doctor know that you are not feeling any better after taking the meds that were given to you and explain the new symptoms of pain, diarrhea, etc.
You don't mention your age, however, you referred to "growing pains."
Are you a teenager?
Yes I'm a teenager. He knows but I can't go to the doctor because it is curfew
Hi @naty,
I'm sure this is frightening for you. If you can't get out to see the doctor please stay in touch through the patient portal or by calling his office. Perhaps you can have a video visit? Are your parents aware of your problem?
Yes they are aware. They thought it was getting better but I started feeling a little bit worse in the afternoon right now, I'm dizzy(it feels like I'm swimming). But they're out right now and I can't contact them.
I'm glad that you found Mayo Connect, @naty. Please post whenever you need to. We will be here to listen and offer encouragement.
Hi @naty,
I hope you are doing better now. How are you feeling today?
