I got my third shot today at Safeway, on advice from the VA. The VA is not ready for third shots, but approve of them. Did not require proof of transplant.

My husband and I got our third doses today. He offered to show the pharmacist his transplant scar as proof of his solid organ surgery. They took my word as an active cancer patient. We did have to sign an attestation to the fact we were eligible, and they looked each of us up in the state database. This was at our not-so-local Walmart, Pfizer brand.

I got a call today (8/19) from the VA that they are now making appointments for a third shot for selective patients. I told them I had gotten it yesterday. She was able to verify my shot and would update my VA record.
