The first week I was taking 2 different eyedrops 4 times a day and another eyedrop twice a day. now I`m supposed to take only one eyedrop twice a day until it`s gone. I went to another eye Dr. and he gave me an eye ointment(3 times daily) to take. He said this would cause me some eye pain for 15-20 minutes when I put it in my eye. But the first time I put it in I felt nothing and thought he had pulling my leg to make me feel better. Later when I told him that he was surprised because he said that is not normal ...not to feel the pain....so am I different or does that mean something about my eye?

If it were me, I would go back to my eye surgeon and have him take a close look at the eyes. I would also ask him about the eye ointment the second eye doctor gave you in case it may cause a reaction to eyedrops from the surgeon. There has to be a reason that your vision is blurry or opaque and the surgeon should really be able to explain or discuss it with you.

in reply to @metermaidman The second Dr you went to should not have given you any other meds because it was too early after your surgery. Lots of Patients gets a film over eye after about a week and the surgeon will use lazer to remove the film, but they usually wait a month before this is done. Did surgeon mention this to you?
