Many antibiotics, including clindamycin, amoxicillin/clavulanate, ampicillin/sulbactam, and imipenem, can be used. For people who have conditions that increase their risk of aspiration, doctors may stop or reduce the dosage of drugs that cause sedation."

@amandajro Hi Amanda! I’m sorry it took me so long to respond, I just saw your comment. My husband is doing great! He got transferred to a rehab facility two days ago and it’s going great. He can finally talk and he’s starting to regain some movement on the right side. Thank you for sharing the link, I will check it out.
