Hi
I am much older and started having facial skin problems almost 10 yrs ago.
Its terribly embarrassing and uncomfortable.
I have been to 3 Drs at a teaching hospital.
Noone knows exactly what it is. Any meds that work stop after awhile.
Finally i have one that worked right away and seems to be the best yet. The down side of most of these medications is that they are barely covered by insurance if covered at all.
Its been an expensive process.
The one i am using now is a foam that feels best of all so far. I think it is monocycline. Similar to that if that is not exact.

You def need a dermatologist. I hope you nip it in the bud. Mine has been much worse than yours when active which is most of the time.

The biggest bonus to me od covid masks is that i can hide my skin issues!

Good luck with the dermatologist!

Thank you so much. I did visit two dermatologists. One told me it was acne and the other gave me 2 treatments for a whole year and was going to start treatment number three. I just never want to go back. Too much medicines and tablets and creams. My skin has become thin and dried out. Is there any natural way or easier way to cure this? I looked up minocycline and it seems a bit drastic. I would definitely have to talk to a dermatologist if I am to take any other medicine. Mostly, I think I'll be half relived just to know the name of what I have on my face.

Has any doctor mentioned rosacea? This sounds like what was happening to me. I used creams and took meds then finally started getting Foto Facials which helped a lot. Since then I have gotten other diff types of treatments and all of it has gone away. It gets active when it’s been a while since I’ve gotten a facial but then I go and that takes care of it. Hope this helps. I don’t use creams or take meds anymore.
