Well, I have Kidney disease since 2001...went through 2 doctors...All they know is telling you you have to think about Dialysis...I did tell them No...I'm at 15% and it seems to be holding at that... feel fine with no problems as yet...No high blood pressure & no diabetes.. got this problem from dehydration...funny all these years and nobody has anything for this...Very Funny...

Hi Mike, I'm not sure what article you may have read a while back. I know that researchers are working hard to find alternatives for kidney disease from prevention to slowing progression to an artificial kidney and regeneration. It's important to keep in mind that the media often reports on promising medical breakthroughs when the research is still in the early stages. It is likely that the study you read about in still being investigated.

Has your doctor or nephrologist talked to you about diet and lifestyle approaches to slowly the progression of kidney disease?

I read where unless you feel like crap, try to stay off dialysis and cotrol the symptoms with medication until you are 10 and under. Your body knows.
