Thank you for the reply. Yes, here is the headline from a study, “ Dietary zinc alters the microbiota and decreases resistance to Clostridium difficile infection” - I also in the last 3 years took a low dose of zinc on an empty stomach and was sick for one day. I had all the symptoms that I recently had last month. I now believe that time too I had it although I never reached out to a doctor and the symptoms resolved back to my regular bad, which is one loose BM a day (trying not to over share). Yes, I will never take a zinc supplement again. Are you put on antibiotics for each bout if you don’t mind me asking? Thank you.

Hi, l took vancomycin for last 2 times, was on it for 6 months very expensive but the flagyl wasn't good, platelets dropped to dangerous low. Took me a long time to wean off the Vanco as l kept having bladder infections, so antibiotics and more vanco. Was a cycle of pills for sure.
Don't be embarrassed to talk about anything on here.
I had diarrhea so bad l got anal fissures and after all this time l am now going in for botox injections for my butt.
Very nervous about that
