Thank you so much for your replys. I just asked my pulmonologist about the 7% saline instead of the 3% that I'm currently taking and he told me that its about the same. Ill ask him again.

@hauoli Please talk to your pulmonologist again because 7% saline has been shown to stop growth of MAC, whereas 3% doesn’t. Nebulizing 7% saline has been a great game changer for those of us with MAC. Here are a couple of papers: See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4850692/, especially tables 2 and 3. hauoli, there is a chart that has been posted here in the past that was put out by NIH. They have proven studies that show that 7% saline strength is what it takes to kill mac. members in this group have printed it out to take to their doctor visits and show it to them, I will try to find it again and get it to you. Someone else may beat me to it and that is ok.
