@ggb21 In addition to Amanda's (@amandajro) suggestion, you might also try medical supply stores like Wright & Fillippis (In the Michigan area). You can also ask your pharmacist if he/she could order them for you.
I must thank everyone for their input. The sheepskin padding was hard to come by immediately as was needed, Surgical stores all sold out except for heel pads. Pharmacy’s here do not order it & as we approached a Holiday wkend it was difficult contacting vendors. So, we cut them up & made due. So far so good. Ive been able to wear a larger size bra w back extenders for up to 5 hrs the past three days. Now I’m 2 days past the 5 wk mark. The severe pain I experienced daily seems to have subsided, w residual but tolerable pain & discomfort remaining. I’ve come to understand this is par for the course of this virus.

@ggb21 that is wonderful news! Despite the effort that went into finding the sheepskin, it sounds like it was worth it and is providing you with some relief. Thank you so much for coming back to share so that others can benefit from your experience.
What is helping you mentally cope with your discomfort?

In all my 84yrs, I’ve never encountered pain as I have had w Shingles & the lingering after effects. Caring Family members, their love, encouragement & support have helped me endure 🙏 !

As an afterthought; during my coping w shingles I had also been experiencing pain from spinal stenosis, sciatica , bone on bone knees & vascular issues. But when possible, it was putting things in a proper considerate perspective & thinking of those some being very young & many others who live in constant pain, having more severe conditions & diseases & what a challenge they endure. I prayed 🙏
You should be able to find it at any pharmacy. It is often by bandages and wraps. If you do Amazon, that is another option!
