Hello @judywren, I would like to add my welcome to Connect along with @stefspad, @jamesbstarkman and other members. I'm sorry to hear your husband is like myself and a lot of men, we tend to take better care of our cars than ourselves. Thank you for advocating for him and learning as much as you can about his condition. Here are a couple of websites that might help in case you were not already aware of them.

Neuropathy Commons - https://neuropathycommons.org/
The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy - https://www.foundationforpn.org/

Well, having half his toe amputated bothered him, that's for sure!!!! THAT's when I got involved. The weird thing is he just has NUMBness - no tingling, etc or pain - I am looking every day for sores - he just sees a podiatrist - should he see a neurologist? The podiatrist seems very thorough - it is just his feet and ankles now - I read numbness is the final stage. heaven's!!! Oh, he ALSO is bothered because I am involved in this now - Nurse Horrible - I make him stop sitting at the computer too long and making him elevate his legs. I adore my hero and want him around - but I am still mad!! Men just are SO stoic - not mine any longer!!! Thanks for your reply - I used to write a humor newspaper column before I retired - but there is nothing funny about neuropathy, that is for sure. I wish everyone on here the best, I mean that!!!!!! Judyb.
