Every day I cough up what looks like a scab with ugly mucous and blood

I hear nasal irrigation helps. I did it for about a week before my Ent appointment.
I have also been told that it was allergies. My virtual report back from my doctor somehow led me to find about the nasopharyngeal bursitis.
So far I believe it’s the best answer!!
Now to research treatment!!
I definitely understand the panic and anxiety. Hopefully now that we possibly have an answer (always thought that I had cancer!!) it will help to stress less..

It looks like based off what I am reading it’s as simple as cauterizing the spot. The study showed that after a 12 month follow up none of the patients had had any further issues. I don’t have insurance unfortunately and have to come out of pocket on all these specialist appointments. I’m going to see if my doctor can possibly find a ENT that will for sure look into this, test for it, and treat it.
