Hi @artist01 I am sorry about your recent blackout. That sounds just awful.

You will see that I moved your discussion to have the Heart and Blood Health group as the main group so that I could connect you with members like @shenriq, @lisadej1, and @onamission who have chatted about vasovagal syncope.

Here is Mayo's explanation of vasovagal syncope.

@artist01 Do you currently wear compression stockings or take fludrocortisone acetate to help with the blackouts?

@amandaburnett Hello Amanda. Thankyou very much for your message. I'm still in the hospital so my cell phone doesn't want to send or receive sometimes. My poor family (3 sons) keep trying to contact me to find out what's going on and bc I couldn't answer, they of course imagine the worst. Lol.
I'll try to make contact with your three suggested vasovegus folks and hope they might have some ideas for me. My G.I. was here to see me this a.m. and has prescribed Buscopan and Pinaverium. I was on the latter for 3 weeks but stopped it bc I was much more dizzy than before, but he and my doc want me to stay the course. "Feeling dizzy is better than blacking out and injuring myself", say the experts. (easy for them to say! ) lol. Anyway, I'm tough and determined so will do what I'm told. Thanks again, Amanda.
