I was that way for a long time too. Now I take a little different approach, at first exposure or hint of a cold I use ZiCam. So far I have managed to stay healthy through grandkids colds and sniffly friends. But my last 2 colds have been just that, no bronchitis, no pneumonia.

I would caution you against taking antibiotics for a cold - colds are viruses, which are not cured by antibiotics. Overuse of antibiotics when you don't need them can cause them to be ineffective for you when you do.

Agree, Sue, and thx for reminder. When I thought I had a cold coming on, I was prescribed an antibiotic (whose side effects scared me). I decided not to take it. I didn’t end up having a cold. I’m glad I didn’t take the antibiotic! I was told to keep it on reserve especially if I’m traveling.
I also have some Standard Process supplements (I think one is Thymax) to take at first signs of sickness. But I’m going to check out ZiCam. Susan

I do the same thing -- ZiCam is my go to at the first thought that I might be getting sick. I also take an extra Vitamin C. I've got my 26 year old son doing the same thing. Seems to be working for us.
