oh thanks mrratt.. I wish the doctor/s I mentioned this too had read about it! Yes I am also hypothyroid and from a few articles I have read, have seen vagus nerve discussed but no doctor I have seen has ever mentioned its existence or possibility it could be involved in my many problems...am getting too old and tired to do their work for them any more.....and kudos to the doctors who are on the ball and bottom line is helping their patients get better! J.

thanks ... may i ask how you found out abut your vagus nerve? i had radiation to pelvic 1985 for cancer and in those days the "rays" were quite spread out and am sure affected many areas of pelvis, dr once said my bladder was "fried" ... but now am a Senior I get the feeling from drs. and even myself that whats done is done and just try and cope as best we can as cannot go through invasive tests and treatments, should have years ago....... thanks again J.
