I hope the drops are helping your conjunctivitis. 20/20 central vision is only one measure of eye health. I would have the visual field test done if these symptoms continue. It tells the doc exactly where the disruption is vision is occurring. It is a non-invasive test that takes about 15-20 minutes, usually administered by a skilled tech, and will help figure out the problem. Depending on results, it may be followed by an examination of your retina, a prescription for more drops, or just cautious watching.
Let us know how you progress.

Drops are helping with the swelling. I am getting very anxious and worried, about my sight in my left eye. It came on suddenly and I am worried it may be something else the ophthalmologist may have missed or something more serious. Has anyone ever experienced what I am feeling? Thank you for the support. My next appointment is on June 8th a few days after my birthday. All my friends and family are telling me its from the infection, but I am having my doubts.
