Hey @quirkygirl35, I've added your question to the ENT group as well and would like to bring @mayoeggbutty2020 @sandytoes14 @searchingforrelief into the discussion to share their experiences with rhinoplasty.

Quirkygirl, has rhinoplasty been recommended for you? I bet you're suffering with seasonal allergies right now. How do you deal with breathing issues and get relief?

Just to clarify, I’m here because of a sinus type of problem, as part of the ENT group, not a tumor. I had a rhinoplasty/septoplasty about 30 years ago. It was supposed to help me breathe better on my left side and give me a straight nose. My breathing did not improve and actually ENTs always suggest that I could have reconstructive surgery, although they admit that they don’t know if that would help (that’s just what they DO, they’re surgeons, so that’s what they suggest.) I was also offered adenoidectomy, but again told that it might not solve the problem. By the way, the scabby things we’re talking about didn’t start until over 20 years after my surgery, so I don’t know if there’s any connection.
