He hasn't tried the time release but the 1mg tranquilizer is helping him not hallucinate spiders. Yes, there is a sleep person involved but everything takes so much time.

Yes, I agree, @snowwhite77, medical teams are often overwhelmed and it does take time.
Will you post again and provide an update as to how you and your husband?
