This is so depressing!
I am 5 months post transplant at Mayo. Like you, take 750/500 Mycophenolate and 3/3 Tacrolimus.
I had longed to do some international travel, but it sounds like from your take away that it would not be recommended.
I have had 2 Pfizer vaccines, as have most of my family.
My 4 month biopsy was perfect, and I am so thankful to my cousin for donating and for Dr Prieto for my kidney transplant and bilateral nephrectomy.
It just makes me sad that this virus will limit our freedom.

I’m so glad you are doing so well. Dr Prieto was also my surgeon!! What a great group of docs and nurses we had! I had to cancel a two week trip to Italy in April when the virus blew up. I’m so looking forward to the day we get replan the trip. I fear it will be longer then we would like. The longer we get from transplant the better our immune systems will be. Best wishes on continuing great recovery

I'm a 70 yr old double transplant patient (Liver and Kidney) 2 year out.
I also watched the zoom meeting and I know I do not have antibodies (Moderna). I also had to delay a trip to see family in Europe. Based on the Zoom meeting, I hope a monoclonal antibody infusions works. We will just have to continue having to be careful. I live in Las Vegas where we have 300.000 tourists many weekends - so it's very difficult to go out anywhere.
