@pammcat- the issues you are having are systemic. Do NOT let an ENT convince you to take a CT scan. That is part of their protocol, they offer that to every person.
If you are a sensitive person, skin, allergies, nervous system will all play a role.
Skin and mucous membranes are your first line of defense. If you experience irritation/allergies/inflammation from external environments, your body is doing its job. Sore throat, voice hoarse ness is systemic response to an irritant. As uncomfortable as this may be it is NOT an anatomical issue. It is up to you to figure out your irritants. Also, anxiety sends the body into an inflammatory state as well.

Yes, I spent 2 days outdoors in dust and pollen, handling thousands of plants for a large sale. Tonight I have a sore throat, and almost no voice. I expect a day or two all will improve. A primary provider or allergist might be of more help to you.
