I had total knee replacement surgery on my left leg April 20th the knee is healing quite dicey but the tropic nerve pain and firing in the top of my foot is devastating the top of my foot looks like it is sunburn and unless I keep at highly elevated To reduce the redness once I put the foot on the ground and put pressure on the foot the pain is excruciating They now have me on a nerve block pain Call pregablin.
It's not working.

Hello @kevingciccone, Welcome to Connect. I'm sorry to hear you are in so much pain after your knee replacement surgery. My surgeon really got on my case when my recovery wasn't going as well as he thought it should. I didn't have the pain you do but I did have a lot of redness and swelling of the leg. I was not icing and elevating as much as frequently as he wanted. It also helped me at night when sleeping to have a pillow under the mattress at the bottom part of the bed to slightly elevate my legs during the night.

Did your surgeon or care team give you some directions on icing and elevating during the day?
