Not sticking to things is a no, no if you want to move. It's very hard to accept our diseases at times. I know that someday my lung cancer will kill me too. And I go back and forth with a feeling of panic and then acceptance. I don't dwell on it though. But if you want to live the rest of what time you have you need to concentrate on the here and now. It's called mindfulness. But never mind the trendy word. It works. So if you want to kick up your legs and heels than live in the here and now. The future will take care of itself. Do the things that will help you get there. Ok?

@merpreb. Man your tough!! I needed that, thanks. Every word is right on. I don't dwell on it most of the time though, just running too hard to live before I can no longer do anything. Need to take time to do what you are saying. If I stop to do the things like exercise, etc. I start thinking. Yea, I'm lonely, sad, worried, and mad as h---. I spend my time taking care others so I don't have time to think. Your comment was good and on the spot, thank you.
