I stepped into my already fastened bra....and wore loose , button up shirts and leggings. Easiest to get on and off. Buttons are also good. When is your surgery? Is it replacement or reverse replacement? Good luck.
@cattanzer
I bought my Mom some velcro, snap & magnetic blouses and dress-like garments. I bought them online.
I wore many very restrictive slings but had help so never had any adaptive clothing myself.
Best of luck to you,
Jake

Had shoulder repair, not replacement surgeries, and found that fastening bra with hooks in front, around waist high (shoulder involvement minimal, mostly hands), turning hooks to back and slowly easing up, worked for me.
Make SURE you get a nerve catheter for pain as anesthetic. I had reverse replacement in October and the nerve catheter stayed in for 6 days...meaning no need for other pain meds. You just need help removing it...You wear a plastic round thing around your neck filled with the nerve block meds. You control how little or how much you use. I used very little so it would last longer. I'm 68. Let me know if you need more information.
Hi @cattanzer, welcome. I moved your message to the Joint Replacements group (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/joint-replacements/) to connect you with others who can answer your question like @artscaping @steeldove @edithmiller @jfsherley @maxiesmom @carolasc @ltsally
Cattanzer, have you had your surgery yet?

Thanks!!
Do you remember the retailers by any chance?? Thanks!!
I am having the reverse shoulder replacement procedure. Performed by a surgeon with Slocum Orthopedics Eugene Or. on May 11.
I am near 70 and live alone. I WILL have help, however. Just not live-in.
Thank you all for your input. Glad to be here! Meds for 'breakthrough' pain have me quite worried!!!

Ahhhh. Stepping INTO the already fastened bra. I KNEW someone would know what to do!! Could be a problem getting it over my belly however! 😺
@cattanzer
I don't remember any retailers, sorry.
Take care & best of luck,
Jake
