What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

Our sun seems to be stuck behind clouds and snow this morning. Thought I’d brighten the day with recent spring flower photos.
Thank you Lori - we're looking at warm, windy & cloudy - the snow reports do not make me eager to head North in 6 days - but the flowers certainly do.

Smooth sailing home Sue! Supposed to get to 71 today in the Rochester area and in the mid to high 60s the rest of the week - fingers crossed. My birdies are liking the weather and I need to run get some more treats for them. Cat likes it too!
My daughter got all the Spring feeders up on her last day off, so my birds are happy - she's waiting for the hummers.

The snow finally turned to rain so hopefully it’s the end of this! The weather should be fine by the time you start heading home. Snow will be a distant memory...but then so will the sandy beaches. And for that I’m sorry for you. But it’s wonderful you were able to get down to. Texas for a much needed break!
Hopefully next year you’ll be able to get the full winter of sun and warmth. We missed out on our long winter in Florida the past 2 years. So ready to resume that come late October. Wishing you safe travels ahead but I’m sure we’ll all touch base before that. 😊
Thanks for the photos, John. I don't have robins. I'm surprised, as we do have them in the area, but I've never had one visit my home. They are certainly welcome....yours look very well fed, sir. What's the little blk/white fellow?
That wonderful cat is smiling in pure contentment. Love it. be well, my friend. Blessings to you, elizabeth
Thanks Elizabeth, taking photos of the birds at our bird feeder is one of my fun activities. The small black and white bird is a female Downey woodpecker. The male version has a small red patch on the top of the head.
John, I thought that looked like a woodpecker! Had a pair visit yesterday. It must be young, as it's smaller than our uys so I kept thinking. Of course, no red head, so my mind moved on....They look happy and full....hope all is well. Blessings on the beautiful day! elizabeth
@johnbishop, Spending 5-6 hrs/ day on days when weather permits and haven't taken time to read all of the new instructions since Connect made changes so the only notice I'm receiving is the "Daily Update". This however seems fitting to share with both my "what's outside your window and gardening friends": Hope the link and photo works:Me at the Start of the Pandemic: https://twitter.com/Brocklesnitch/status/1249914273322512384 Best to all!

I think this will give you an opportunity to fine tune your notifications to make it easier to use in the long run. Here are a couple of how to newsfeed posts that you might want to read through to make it all a little easier.
