I experienced a mood positive change on green keto (Anna cabeca) during 1 month. Didn’t know if it was a photoshop of how is a brain on ketosis but that’s my goal: trying to get into ketosis and stay on it for better brain function. Would like to know women (BC I think is different for men) that are trying this and how are they doing. Ill checked Dr Boz approach and find it excellent bc of supported on data, bio markers, measures and not just guessing, but still find that it doesn’t adress intolerances, the gut-mind connection, the women hormonal changes, the need to be alkaline. Keto was started as a protocol for epilepsy why couldn’t it be beneficial for mood disorders and inflammation? Is somebody giving it a try? Would appreciate to know if somebody has been on this journey and want to share her outcomes especially on mood, cognition, energy and sleep (circadian rhythm). Thanks

Hi @lorena1egas, You will see that I moved your comment to the discussion that is talking about food diets that help with depression and mood disorders. I see that you posted previously here as well. When you respond to a discussion that was already started, the group settings move it to the top of the list so all the members can see that there is a new comment on this topic.

Can you share with me what you are referring to when you say "a photoshop of the brain on ketosis"? I have often wondered about this diet myself and would love to know how exactly it has benefitted your mood and stability. 🙂
