It was a difficult decision but we decided to go to Gillette Children's hospital in St. Paul. We scheduled Shia's surgery for July 9th. The main reason we chose Gillette was because of distance from our home. Gillette is only 10 minutes away versus an hour to Mayo. We talked with many parents and all had great reviews at both hospitals. It was a tough decision.
