Hello, I think this has been discussed on here, but I'm new and looking for any help that I can get. I have this weird and worrisome internal vibration (that's the only way to describe it) in my neck area and chest area. It started in September/October 2019. I actually had an ablation done on my heart due to PVC's. I was in bigeminy and trigeminy off and on for days! It was horrible and I could not function. The ablation did not get rid of the PVC's, but lessened the feeling of them, but they were still there. My EP put me on Flecainide about four weeks after the ablation because they came back. I currently take Flecainide 75mg twice a day. I've also been to the ER several times for this and they tell me it's anxiety. It's mainly at night when I lay down, but now it's happening during the day. Way worse at night. I've had stress test, echo, and calcium score, all of which were normal. The only thing that was not normal was my carotid artery scan, and that came back with a 1-49% blockage, my cardiologist told me to clean up my diet and exercise more. My insurance company called me and the nurse there said for me to get a second opinion on the carotids. I see a cardiologist at UTSW in Dallas next month. The weird thing is that if I put my hands up near my neck and throat area, I can feel my pulse there, and it feels like it's bouncing around, But, my pulse is normal in my wrist and carotid area on neck. The EP did say that the Flecainide couple be messing with the the nerves ?? I'm so tired of this and it's so scary. I go to bed every night not know if I'm going to wake up. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi @txfishergal1 and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I see that you are suffering from internal vibrations in the neck and chest just like a host of other people in this discussion. You will see that I moved your inquiry to a large conversation discussing just that. I would encourage you to read through the 10 pages above and try to connect with some of the members like @david1972, @jewles63, @champton, or @happyat76 who have posted about internal tremors or shaking.

@txfishergal1 Are you keeping a log of you blood pressure and heart rate? Are you checking before and after you take your medication?
