Has anyone tried the HF10 Spinal Cord Stimulation Device?

My husband had the ST. Jude/Abbott Proclaim--but the experience was not good. We don't know if the device was bad or if the implantation was not good. A friend down the street has the Proclaim and it has changed her life. In my husband's case the implant was done by a pain doctor, not a neurosurgeon. The reps could never program the thing to help him and he began to have increasing back and leg pain. Had the device removed--leads were out of place and broken out of their silicone sheaths. The generator migrated from its pocket--causing more discomfort. He is in increasing discomfort. Considering the Nevro HF10--but must be implanted by a neurosurgeon.

Hello @gran61, Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'm sorry to hear your husband did not find relief with the Proclaim device and is still having increasing pain and discomfort. Thank you for sharing his experience with the device and details of how the implant was done. You mentioned he is considering the Nevro HF10 but only if done by a neurosurgeon. Has he consulted with a neurosurgeon yet to see if it is an option for him?
