No option to see all notifications ....only a few at a time...very cumbersome in this little box....also, now that I did the ... system, nothing is showing up in my email. Am I to suppose I have to go through the main connect page to find anything?

@migizii, you now have several options.
A. Few activity in the groups you follow on the homepage. Read more about the homepage here:

B. On-Site Notifications: To see all your notifications, click on the bell icon and then click View All. Click the image below to see the instructions.
C. Email notifications: You will get fewer emails. This was a big complaint of many members that the email volume was overwhelming. You can choose to continue to get emails for every new post if you wish. Here's how:
1. Choose a group you wish to follow from the Group Directory in the menu (☰) https://connect.mayoclinic.org/groups/
2. Open the group.
3. Click the 3 dots (…) and select "Get emails for all new posts in this group"
