If I move out of the state where my Mayo clinic was does my transplant team recommend a place for me to get my yearly check ups or does it mean I have to return always to my orginal transplant hospital

@newliver, I received my transplant at Mayo Rochester in 2009. I live 750 miles away. It is my (and my husband's) preference to return to Rochester annually. I know of others who choose to have their checkup closer to their home.

@newliver and @rosemarya When I was considering dual listing at Mayo they said they would take most of the pre-transplant test results from Mass General, and that after about six weeks or two months -- I forget which -- I would be able to continue my followups at Mass General. I am sure that they are comfortable with coordinating with MGH because it is also so highly regarded. I do like having my follow-up at the hospital that did my transplant though so I am glad that I was able to get my transplant there.
