I have heard horror stories about some infusion therapies I.E. Prolia and Forteo. How likely is it that someone suffers necrosis of the jaw, joint pain and other things that are posted on the internet?
I had hip fracture last August and still use awalker. I am 81 is this normal

Has anyone had the infusion treatment for osteoporosis. I'm to have it Tuesday and don't know what to expect.

My husband has multiple myeloma with bone involvement & has a monthly infusion of the bone strengthen Zometa (Zolendronic Acid). It is very effective & only takes 15-20 minutes. However, they must do blood tests before infusion and that adds at least an hour.
