My husband has multiple myeloma with bone involvement & has a monthly infusion of the bone strengthen Zometa (Zolendronic Acid). It is very effective & only takes 15-20 minutes. However, they must do blood tests before infusion and that adds at least an hour.

Hello @seamaiden and welcome to Connect. This Q&A took place in the past and the physician's are no longer fielding questions.

I suggest posting your concerns and questions about multiple myeloma to the members discussing multiple myeloma. You can find one of those discussions here, http://mayocl.in/2mm0hS6. In that discussion you will connect with members who may have similar experiences as your husband and may be able to offer some insight.
