Dr. Allen Aksamit's neurological podcast was informative. In the last 3 minutes of his presentation he mentioned a peripheral neuropathy syndrome which I could not understand his pronounciation or spelling. Phonetically it sounded like " e'" on barese" syndrome. Please let me know the correct spelling. I have peripheral neuropathy and during my recent 'viral infection' I had increased loss of sensation in my feet up to my knees. Thank you .

@lovee Here's an excerpt from Dr. Aksamit's video starting at 10:26.
"Well there's a lot of things that you may hear about that will be associated with COVID-19 that are not so well publicized. There have been a few patients who have had Guillain-Barre syndrome. You may know that condition. It's a neurological syndrome that affects the peripheral nerves. That one has been now reported in a few patients. It seems to be not a direct infection of the nerves but rather an immune reaction against the nerves."
