Hollow echo distortion in ear? Scared

The steroids only helped you for a few days? How long after the hair cell damage did you receive the injection? Do you get this hollow echo distortion now? Yes, I've had the hearing tests which came out normal. otologist had no insight for my symptoms.

Did you ever find out the reason for that Echo sound, as I have it also. Every time I speak or someone else speaks, it goes off in my right ear. It's like two metal bars hitting each other and that sound you get for a few seconds after. What is it? Thank you

I'm not sure if it is the same thing but maybe somewhat similar. I went deaf overnight and sound echoes into and through my head when I speak. Almost like landing in a plane and your ears go deaf. I haven't found a solution so far but my ENT doc said that he thinks my eustachian canals are blocked. If so can anything be done for that? All of these obscure health problems are so hard to live with. I have an appointment to see the ENT again in a few weeks. It's so hard getting appointments lately.
