@lotsofpain I am sorry to hear of your swollen feet post-surgery. You will notice I did edit the title of your post and moved it into the Joint Replacement Group so that others with hip replacement experience can join the conversation.

I did notice you were also able to connect with @contentandwell and @peggyp in the Hip Replacement discussion where they shared some helpful information on taping and compression stockings. Have you tried either of those suggestions?

June 7th will be one year since my surgery. My foot and ankle has been swollen 80 percent of that time. At first I thought my foot was broken so I went to see a foot doctor (another $45 copay). The surgeon said swelling was normal after hip replacement, but for an entire year? The foot in question is still discolored. I've had two different Doppler's done. Results were good. But my surgeon never and I repeat "never" mentioned the word "foot drop." When are these wealthy doctors going to take responsibility for their mistakes? Because no lawfirm will take this type of suit. It's like they're all in "cohoots" with each other and not only are they screwing everyone but they are getting generously paid for it. I'm so tired of the shit. My quality of life sucks and the prognosis is not good.
