Congratulations on your outcome so far. Some what good news as far as a generic for Eliquis as the FDA has announced the approval of one but it doesn't mean that it will become available commercially anytime soon. Yep in the same boat as you with the cost. Hate it when watching commercials for it and they say "May cost you only $5.00 per prescription".

Generic drugs & costs are a sticky wicket.

I am a U.S citizen living in Virginia and I purchase my Eliquis from a Canadian pharmacy at a cost of less than $500.00 including FedEx cost for a 3 month supply of 180 tablets. Try Claymans pharmacy in Manitoba. They have a website. You can pdf, take a photo, or have your physician fax in your prescription and pay for it with a credit card.
