Hi lioness... yes I did a lot of searching on Internet and no cure for most tinnitus - but I thought I read it depends on what caused it? Mine started gosh 20 years or so ago but was on and off, especially if quiet like when reading a book in bed, a little knocking or tapping or buzz etc. but last Fall (after 2 of worst years of my life I think) it became a droning machinery noise and lasts for hours. Along with this is the ear pain, echo when I speak or listen sometimes, and fullness - which started after a really bad cold/flu.. so was it the flu or the medication I was given? Looking back I have taken so much medication if I had my life to live over again I would have not taken as much. I know its a personal decision and not recommending it to anyone... but with many I had no idea of the side effects and some meds "can" cause tinnitus! Do you do a lot of research on the Internet? I probably do too much but not having a family doctor and not receiving much help when I did... it's my place to go for information. I think there is or can be connection with eyes, nose, ears, throat as they do all have passageways leading to each other dont they?? J.

@lacy2 Yes I do research on the internet but when things point to a more professional look I make an appointment with an ENT You say you have a fulnes in your ears ,this sounds like it may be fluid just my guess a ENT will know Id suggest you make an appointment with one especially if there is ear pain .All are connected and this is the ENT,s specialty .
