@loula- Hi. I've been reading your posts and it looks as if you have things under control right now. How did you feel after the port and biopsy were done? DO you have the results yet?

I have not gotten constipated from antinausea meds, ever. How is your appetite? I had chemo only for 4 months ages ago. About half-way through your course of meds, your body starts to become familiar with the drugs, and the effects shouldn't be as severe.

So how are you feeling? Are you writing your journey down? I love that you do some stretches to help with aches and pains. It's a winner!

Hello Merry
Yes I had the port put in and it is healing up pretty good, it sure was a trip taking my first shower afterwards you kinda worry about it coming loose ! the biopsy came back as expected it is cancer, 4 cm one and a little one doctor said more than likely it would come back with positive results, I told the doctor that I really do not want to hear anymore bad news for awhile so just let me know if the treatment is working. 1st chemo last Wed. then had to go Fri, for port and biopsy then on Sat. it was like a roller coaster ride for 4 to 5 days I Thank goodness I was lucky and had my sister here with me for 5 days. went from my bed to the couch and almost thought I wouldn't make it. now I am just tired but I make myself get up and move it does make it better for awhile but you are always tired. someone told me about Ritalin for fatigue ever heard about that at all ? I am writing down everyday what I am going through and what I am changing, I am so happy that winter is over and the sun is shinning it sure does a soul good. hope you are feeling well and things are going good for you. thanks for keeping in touch.

stay healthy
