When my hearing aids (HA) are recharging in their box at night I set my Smart phone Alarm for 3 different times.. 15 minutes apart.. for my wake-up.. that way I can put my phone close to my good ear... I have installed a "Volume Booster" app on my phone.. It usually wakes me up.. the Alarm on the smart phone can be set for different rings and different durations of the alarm... the phone can be several feet closer to my ear than the one on the night stand... Distance is all important in hearing.. Occasionally I will fall asleep without taking out my HA and the alarm really gives me a "start" those mornings..

I have been using a Sonic Alert, Sonic Shaker alarm clock for about 30 years. I am on my second one because I dropped the first one to many times. It is small and round like a flying saucer, has a digital read out, and switches that allow it to be set for sound and or vibration or both. It will get your full attention. When my hearing aids come out I am deaf. It has a clip to hook onto the bed I clip mine to the pillow in side the pillow case then go to sleep knowing I will be awake on time and no worries get a good nights sleep. It is powered by 2 AA batteries and 1AAA battery that last about a year and are easy to change. Easy to find just go on line. Happy Z’s Elwood. Fairly priced too .
