Hi Jake, how long would you say that it took your mom to feel relief from the turmeric? And, was the 1 to 2,000 mg per day? It's very good to hear that she has found relief! Would you mind keeping us updated on that should god-forbid, this knee pain come back while she is still on the turmeric? Thanks so much and take really good care, Sunny flower

Yes, I too am curious about this. My wife takes a product called Theracurmin made by Integrative Therapeutics, the ingredients include:
Theracurmin (d bioavailability water-dispersible turmeric (Curcuma longa) rhizome complex) providing 30% curcumin (180 mg) 600 mg
So the 600mg curcumin is derived from turmeric, and my wife thinks it's doing her some good. I have no idea whether it's better to take curcumin or turmeric, but they seem to be good for soothing inflammation. Can you tell me which product your mom is taking or is it just raw turmeric?
