So, l've only been off vanco for a few weeks once or twice in the last 8 months due to UTI's.

Are you taking Vanco as precaution or you had a cdiff reoccurrence? I was told if I need an antibiotic for any reason within a year of developing cdiff to take as well vanco as precaution.
