Sue, where was it announced that there were 800 doses soon to expire that could have been given to 65+? Was that in Rochester? I live 5 minutes from Mayo and am so anxious to get the vaccine due to my bronchiectasis. If there is a way to get on a last call list, I would be so grateful to be let in on the secret password 🙂 I am getting nowhere with my primary care doc or my pulmonologist.

Ditto for me! Grateful for others, but there is a brick wall where I live, thus far and the state “lottery” system of covid vaccinations hasn’t brought me any luck (even though it would be a 6 or 8 hour round trip) to get one of the coveted appointments.

That was last week in Minneapolis. Hennepin Health had them, and was able to administer all of them to eligible people registered in their system without any waste by last Saturday. According to my daughter, an RN on their Covid & telehealth lines, they are being much more cautious about how much they thaw each day now, matching it carefully to scheduled appointments.
