Hello I did notice that the neck massage and stretching my upper shoulder helps.. I'm going to see a chiropractor tomorrow to ask for a adjustment and see about my jaw as I noticed it's really tender and perhaps the cause of my ear pain..I did notice once I stretched my jaw in the direction of my pain my swallowing improved and the click to swallowing wasn't as loud. I don't know if my tmj pain would play a part in the click while swallowing but I did notice it improved with the minor neck stretching. After proper stretch i practiced bringing my lower jaw inward creating a overbite.. I did it slightly and not hard pressure I noticed my throat felt relief. I noticed my clicking started when I felt ear pain and feeling clogged so I had a bad habit of pushing my lower jaw to the right trying to force my ear to pop with no luck..so once I see my chiropractor hopefully it answers more questions of what I can do to improve this.

@rockymountain1107 If you Google "Mayo Clinic TMJ exercises" you'll find specific exercises you can do for TMJ,
which are similar to what you've instinctively discovered you can do to ease the pain in your ear and jaw. I think a dentist appointment is also a good way to go.
